About breathemovedivine
For the ones who feel everything.
If you've landed here, there's a good chance you know what it's like to experience the world at full volume. The textures, the colors, the emotions — all of it, all at once, all the time. That's where breathemovedivine comes from, and that's who it's for.
My Story
Hi, I'm Taletha.
I'm an autistic artist, a former aerospace engineer, a professional dancer turned disabled small business owner, and someone who has walked many winding paths to get here.
From the time I was a child, I've always been a creative person. I played music, danced, and created original art throughout my life. I even ran my own micro-business as a professional dancer and dance teacher. But when it came time to choose a career, I didn't pursue the creative path. Instead, I chose formal education in the sciences and became an aerospace engineer.
For years, I thought contributing to humanity meant pursuing traditional ideals of forward action — equations, engineering, exploration of the Universe through science. And that work mattered. But after a lifetime of searching for how I could best contribute to humanity's understanding of the Universe, I've arrived on a different path entirely.
This path is less about traditional achievement and more about how I can use my sensitive nature to create joy. And that shift? It's changed everything.
The Return to Art
I returned to creating art in 2024, but not for the reasons I expected.
As a late-diagnosed autistic person, I've had to make significant lifestyle and environmental changes to support my health and well-being. In 2024, I was experiencing autistic burnout — a deep exhaustion that affected not just my energy, but my motor skills. I began painting and drawing as a way to assist in motor skill recovery and to reclaim the creative outlet I'd set aside for so long.
What started as physical therapy became so much more. Art became a way to better understand my sensory needs, my energy levels, and to nurture all parts of myself as I got to know who I truly am beneath the mask I'd worn for decades.
Now, art is an integral part of my healing process. And discovering that my artwork resonates with people from multiple backgrounds — people who see themselves in what I create — has been one of the greatest gifts of this journey.
Beyond Burnout: Recognition & Growth
In 2025, I participated in the Boulder County Open Studios Tour and entered my original artwork into their juried competition. Having my work recognized in this way reminded me that healing doesn't mean shrinking. It means expanding into who you've always been.
Every design you see in this shop is based on my original artwork — created with acrylic marker and colored pencil, by hand, with intention and care. The originals aren't currently for sale, but they live on through the products I offer so you can carry a piece of that energy with you.
What breathemovedivine Means
The name itself is a reminder — to myself and to those around me — to prioritize sensory needs by living a lifestyle that supports self-care, introspection, self-compassion, and awareness.
Breathe. Pause. Honor your nervous system.
Move. Let your body guide you. Dance, walk, stim, stretch.
Divine. Recognize the sacred in yourself and others.
This isn't just a brand. It's a philosophy. A practice. A commitment to living in a way that honors the fullness of who we are.
